Teen Gunfire Erupts at Amarillo Party Leaving Two Dead and Ten Injured

A Texas house shooting in Amarillo left two teenagers dead and ten others injured during a violent apartment party. Police responded to South Coulter Street around two a.m. after reports of multiple gunshots and panic. Investigators said the gathering began at another location before moving to the apartment complex later that night.

Authorities reported that tensions rose after organizers asked several individuals to leave the first party location. Those individuals later followed attendees to the apartment complex in what investigators describe as a targeted escalation. Suspects then attempted to force entry into the apartment before firing rifle-style weapons.

During the Texas house shooting, security footage captured people running in different directions as gunfire continued. Police believe multiple firearms were used based on shell casings recovered from the scene and the nearby alley. The footage showed widespread panic as guests tried to escape the area quickly.

Officials confirmed the victims as seventeen-year-old Ezekiel Rudy Almazan and another sixteen-year-old boy. Ten additional victims suffered injuries and required emergency treatment at hospitals across Amarillo. Medical teams worked overnight to stabilize patients after the shooting incident.

Investigators also recovered a Glock 9 mm handgun near an apartment landing during evidence collection. However, authorities have not confirmed a clear motive behind the attack so far. They continue to treat the case as potentially targeted based on early findings.

Police are still searching for two suspects who remain unidentified at this stage of the investigation. Officials believe the suspects may have known individuals attending the party that night. This connection could help investigators understand how the violence developed.

Authorities urged residents to share any doorbell or surveillance footage from the surrounding neighborhood. Investigators continue reviewing digital evidence and witness statements to build a clearer timeline. Cooperation from the public remains important as the Texas house shooting investigation continues.

Officials say the case remains active and additional updates will follow as new evidence emerges. The community continues to deal with shock and grief after the deadly outbreak of violence.
