Enola Holmes 3 follows Brown as she reprises her role as Enola Holmes, the younger sister of Sherlock Holmes. In the new story, Enola travels to Malta to investigate another mystery. The film also features Louis Partridge, Helena Bonham Carter, Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, and Himesh Patel as Dr. Watson.
Brown said the extreme heat affected everyone working on the production. As a result, she raised the issue directly with the filmmaking team. Production later received requests for additional fans and air-conditioned tents. Those changes improved conditions for both the cast and crew.
Throughout filming, Brown encouraged efforts to keep everyone cool. She considered those improvements important for helping the team work safely and comfortably during the demanding schedule.
The actress also said the weather made it difficult to concentrate while filming scenes. She compared the experience with filming the fourth season of Stranger Things in New Mexico. There, desert conditions created similar environmental challenges. Bright sunlight and blowing sand made it difficult for her to keep her eyes open while performing.

The film’s wedding-themed storyline also carried personal meaning for Brown. Having recently married, she said those scenes allowed her to relive some of that excitement while portraying Enola.
