Authorities accuse Hobbs of killing Billy Blair, 74, and his wife, Virginia Carol Blair, 71, inside their Mendenhall residence on June 3. Therefore, prosecutors filed two counts of capital murder along with burglary and several additional felony charges.
According to investigators, deputies already knew Hobbs before the homicide investigation began.
