Police said the man attended the sold-out show with his wife when he fell from the arena’s upper seating area. Officers responded shortly before 10 p.m. after receiving a 911 call reporting an injured male inside the venue.
Upon arrival, officers found the 51-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive. Police reported that his injuries were consistent with a fall from an elevated position inside the arena bowl.
The man appeared to have fallen from the 300 level section, which includes balcony and upper-tier seating positioned above the lower seating areas. Emergency personnel transported him to a nearby hospital, where medical staff pronounced him dead.
