Toy Story Cars Porsche Builds Custom Models for Charity

Toy Story Cars emerged as a featured collaboration as Porsche introduced custom vehicles inspired by Disney and Pixar characters at a major event tied to the “Toy Story 5” premiere. Additionally, the automaker presented three specially designed Porsche 911 models, each representing a character from the animated franchise. Each vehicle reflects a distinct creative interpretation linked to the film’s main characters.

Moreover, the custom designs draw inspiration from Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie. Porsche’s Sonderwunsch division developed all three vehicles as part of its bespoke customization program. In addition, the division specializes in one-off builds and highly personalized automotive designs. The term “Sonderwunsch” translates from German as “special wishes.”

Furthermore, Toy Story Cars also form part of a charitable initiative supported by Porsche. The company confirmed that proceeds from the vehicles will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross, and the Starlight Children’s Foundation. Additionally, organizers stated that the initiative aims to combine creative design with support for nonprofit organizations.

Meanwhile, Toy Story Cars highlight a broader collaboration between Porsche, Disney, and Pixar. The project connects automotive engineering with animated storytelling through character-based design. As a result, the collaboration reflects efforts to merge entertainment themes with automotive craftsmanship.

For instance, the Buzz Lightyear-inspired vehicle uses a Porsche 911 GT3 RS as its base model. It features a color scheme combining white, green, and purple elements referencing the Space Ranger suit. Additionally, designers incorporated aerodynamic features, including a large rear wing inspired by Buzz Lightyear’s winged suit design.

Inside the Buzz-themed vehicle, Porsche added green interior accents and custom materials throughout the cabin. Furthermore, the company worked with Goodyear to develop specially themed tires for the model. The interior also includes engraved details referencing the phrase “To Infinity and Beyond.”

Similarly, the Jessie-inspired Porsche 911 uses a 2026 Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS as its foundation. It features red, blue, and yellow accents designed to reflect the character’s appearance. Additionally, the red roof design represents Jessie’s cowgirl hat. The interior includes denim-inspired materials and themed lighting elements.

On the other hand, the Woody-inspired model is based on a Porsche 911 Carrera T. Designers applied a paint finish intended to resemble worn denim textures. Moreover, the interior includes brown leather elements and western-themed styling cues. Door sill plates also feature themed messaging inspired by the character.

Toy Story Cars represent a continuation of Porsche’s series of collaborations involving Pixar-related themes. Consequently, company representatives stated that the project reflects shared values of creativity, design innovation, and storytelling. They also noted the inclusion of charitable fundraising as a central component of the initiative.

Additionally, Porsche executives stated that the vehicles aim to combine entertainment inspiration with automotive craftsmanship. Pixar designers also contributed to ensure character accuracy across each model. As a result, the collaboration brings together animation design principles and automotive engineering practices.

Finally, Toy Story Cars will be sold through a charity auction program. Porsche confirmed that pricing details have not yet been announced. All proceeds from the auction will be directed toward selected nonprofit organizations supporting the initiative.
