Zeitview Secures $60M to Advance AI-Powered Inspections of Global Critical Infrastructure

Zeitview, a leader in visual AI for critical infrastructure, has announced a $60 million capital raise led by Climate Investment, with participation from existing investors including Valor Equity Partners, Union Square Ventures, Upfront Ventures, Euclidean Capital, Energy Transition Ventures, Hearst Ventures, and Y Combinator.

The company has rapidly expanded its reach, doubling its inspection count to over 200,000 assets across 80 countries in 2024. Zeitview’s AI-powered platform streamlines inspection processes, reducing costs and addressing the growing challenges posed by labor shortages and increased regulatory demands. Unlike competitors focusing on single asset classes, Zeitview provides a comprehensive solution covering solar, wind, utilities, properties, and telecom infrastructure.

“The critical infrastructure that powers the global economy faces a perfect storm of rising danger, strain, and cost,” said Zeitview Founder & CEO Dan Burton. “Zeitview helps the biggest enterprises in critical infrastructure prevent catastrophic failure, assess and predict risk, and prioritize maintenance spend.”

With this new investment, Zeitview plans to accelerate the development of its Visual AI platform, enhancing its capabilities to provide instant, predictive, and scalable insights for infrastructure owners worldwide. The company will also expand its Insights software to better support customers throughout the lifecycle of their assets.

Patrick Yip, Managing Director and Head of Growth Equity at Climate Investment, highlighted the significance of this funding. “We invest in leading, differentiated decarbonization technologies with multi-sector applications across energy-intensive industries. Zeitview’s platform is a perfect fit for our global network of investors, many of whom are already customers.”

Mike Bishop, Investment Director at Climate Investment and new Zeitview board member, emphasized the company’s unique position in the market. “Infrastructure owners, operators, and OEMs need solutions that serve their entire portfolio. Zeitview’s visual data platform combines analytics with deep domain expertise to deliver better, faster, and more cost-effective asset management solutions.”

As the demand for reliable energy, communication, and facility infrastructure continues to rise amid increasing environmental challenges, Zeitview remains committed to equipping enterprises with advanced AI-powered tools to enhance asset resilience and efficiency.
