Trump Presidential Library Secures $37 Million in Funding and Private Jet with Eric Trump Leading

The Trump presidential library secures $37 million in confirmed funding. A $400 million Boeing 747 jet has also been donated to the project. Eric Trump is overseeing the initiative to honor and archive his father’s presidency.

New Nonprofit Foundation Launches

On May 23, a new nonprofit was registered in Florida. It is named Donald J. Trump Presidential Library Foundation, Inc. The foundation’s purpose is to establish and operate a future presidential library and museum.

Eric Trump and Michael Boulos filed the documentation. Boulos is married to Trump’s daughter, Tiffany. Both are listed as initial trustees, along with attorney James Kiley.

Library Will Be Privately Funded and Managed

The foundation will be privately funded, not supported by taxpayer dollars. The official filings note it will maintain presidential archives, create exhibits, and launch educational programs. The foundation may eventually include up to 21 trustees.

The address on the filing is linked to a Florida-based golf property associated with the Trump family.

The Trump presidential library secures $37 million through two legal settlements. One settlement provided $25 million, with $22 million designated specifically for the library. Another $15 million was received from a separate defamation settlement.

These funds will help finance the museum, archive operations, and public programming.

A $400 Million Jet from Qatar Enhances the Project

A luxury Boeing 747, valued at $400 million, was gifted by Qatar. It will serve as a central display or exhibit within the library complex. The aircraft represents Trump’s presidential travels and will be part of the visitor experience.

Plans Align with the National Presidential Library Tradition

There are currently 16 official presidential libraries in the United States. They document each president’s term and are privately funded. These libraries are maintained by the National Archives.

Although Donald Trump did not build a library during his first term, this new initiative changes that. The project will now follow the standard model used by previous presidents.

Eric Trump Directs the Legacy Effort

Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, is leading the effort. The nonprofit plans to preserve documents, host public programs, and operate museum exhibits.

Another similarly named nonprofit was formed in December 2024. However, that filing did not include any listed directors or trustees.

Trump Presidential Library Secures $37 Million and Expands Legacy

With secured funding and a luxury aircraft, the Trump presidential library secures $37 million and takes the next step toward development. The foundation’s leadership aims to ensure the former president’s history is preserved for future generations.
