Queens Knife Attack Leaves Mother and Toddler Dead

A horrific Queens knife attack left a mother and her 2-year-old daughter dead. The accused suspect is now hospitalized. The New York Police Department identified the attacker as Ernesto Cruz, 54. Officers say he faces serious criminal charges.

The stabbing happened inside a home in Ridgewood, Queens. Cruz allegedly stabbed his wife and young daughter during a video call. Officials said Ana Pilatagsi-Moposita and her daughter, Analiz Cruz, both suffered neck and chest wounds from the knife attack.
