Beyond geopolitics, Huang addressed workforce implications during the AI Growth Decade conversation. He acknowledged that automation will likely eliminate some existing roles eventually. Nevertheless, he predicted that new jobs would emerge across the manufacturing and technology sectors.
Specifically, Huang highlighted the construction of factories, chip plants, and data centers nationwide. These projects, he said, create substantial demand for skilled trade labor. Consequently, he believes AI development could help reindustrialize parts of the United States economy.
