iOS 26 Beta 6 Brings Liquid Glass and Apple Intelligence Closer

Apple has released iOS 26 beta 6, marking a big leap forward in its development cycle. With the official launch approaching, this version sharpens the focus on Liquid Glass and Apple Intelligence. Interestingly, Apple now seems to be shifting to a weekly beta release pattern. As a result, developers and testers can access updates more frequently. This faster pace allows for quicker feedback and faster improvements.

Previously, beta 5 introduced several helpful upgrades to core apps. For example, the Mail app now includes a Select button, which makes it easier to manage multiple messages. In addition, the Camera app received a new Classic Mode toggle. This option reverses the scroll direction when switching modes, improving usability for longtime users.

Apple also refreshed the appearance of some key icons. Notably, AirDrop and the Fitness app now showcase updated visuals. These design tweaks support the clean look of Liquid Glass and Apple Intelligence. Furthermore, beta 5 brought visual polish with updated animations. Now, entering a passcode triggers a smooth, bouncy motion. Meanwhile, swiping through Control Center pages feels more fluid than before.

Dynamic Island also saw a small but smart improvement. It now displays a low-battery alert in a way that feels less intrusive. Therefore, users can stay informed without breaking focus. Additionally, Apple continues to work on improving performance and battery life. Each new beta shows better optimization and fewer bugs.

With beta 6, the vision for Liquid Glass and Apple Intelligence becomes even more refined. Now, the Home Screen, Lock Screen, Control Center, and app icons follow a unified design style. On the intelligence side, Apple’s AI features are growing rapidly. For instance, Image Playground now uses advanced models to generate original images directly on the device.

Also, Genmoji gives users more ways to customize emojis based on expressions or prompts. These tools push creativity further than before. Another major addition is Visual Intelligence search. Users can take a screenshot, highlight a specific area, and instantly receive helpful context or answers.

Moreover, Live Translation now works more seamlessly. It detects what’s on the screen in real time and translates with greater speed and accuracy. Finally, this update also launched alongside beta versions for iPad, Mac, Watch, TV, and Vision devices.
