Porsche dealership co-owner resigns following a wave of public outrage after sending an antisemitic message to a potential customer. The incident unfolded at a luxury dealership in Pompano Beach, Florida.

The controversy erupted after co-owner Naveen Maraj allegedly texted offensive remarks to John Wolff. The message contained a slur targeting Wolff’s Jewish identity. A screenshot of the text quickly spread online, drawing widespread condemnation.

In a statement, Champion General Manager Mike Peters confirmed Maraj’s resignation. He noted that the decision took immediate effect and included stepping down from all leadership positions.

Peters described Maraj’s comments as “offensive and inexcusable.” He added that Champion Motorsports would use the moment to reaffirm its values of respect, integrity, and professionalism.

Champion emphasized its longstanding commitment to mutual respect. However, the dealership also said the remark came during a private exchange. Peters claimed Maraj and Wolff had been close friends for over a decade.

He acknowledged that casual banter can easily be misunderstood or become wholly inappropriate outside its intended context. Yet, Wolff disputed that account, stating they hadn’t spoken in six years. He rejected the suggestion that such language could ever be part of their friendship.
