Bongino wrote “During my tenure here as the Deputy Director of the FBI I have repeatedly relayed to you that things are happening that might not be immediately visible but they are happening.” He added “What I have learned in the course of our properly predicated and necessary investigations into these aforementioned matters has shocked me to my core.” Bongino emphasized “We cannot run a Republic like this. I’ll never be the same after learning what I’ve learned.”
Although Bongino’s exact references remain unclear many observers believe his comments hint at major forthcoming developments. His message follows a trend of officials dropping vague yet powerful statements before significant actions.
For instance, in 2021 and 2022 the former Attorney General Merrick Garland repeatedly highlighted the importance of the Department of Justice’s independence.
