A Drive-By Shooting in South Florida claimed the life of 21-year-old social media influencer Brianna Johnson early Sunday morning after gunfire struck the luxury SUV in which she was traveling. Authorities continue investigating the fatal attack while searching for those responsible.
Police identified Johnson as one of three occupants inside a lime green Lamborghini Urus when the shooting occurred at approximately 5:30 a.m., only hours after Fourth of July celebrations ended. She was widely known online for sharing beauty and lifestyle content across social media platforms, where she had nearly 500,000 combined followers.
Investigators said the Lamborghini reached an intersection when a light-colored sedan pulled alongside the driver’s side. According to police, the occupants of that vehicle opened fire, striking everyone inside the SUV before fleeing the area.
Authorities received multiple ShotSpotter alerts that directed officers to the scene shortly after the gunfire erupted. Responding officers discovered the Lamborghini had continued moving after the shooting before crashing into a nearby house.
Investigators said surveillance footage captured portions of the incident. The video reportedly shows a light-colored sedan following the Lamborghini moments before the shooting began. After the gunfire, the suspect vehicle quickly left the area while the victims’ SUV drifted through the intersection and collided with the residence.
Police described the shooting as involving rapid-fire gunshots. Images circulating publicly appear to show numerous bullet holes along both sides of the Lamborghini, although investigators have not released an official count.
Johnson suffered critical injuries during the attack and later died. Authorities confirmed that she succumbed to those injuries after emergency responders transported her for medical treatment.
The two other occupants of the Lamborghini also sustained serious gunshot wounds. Officials transported both victims to a local hospital, where they remained in critical condition. Authorities have not publicly released their identities.
Investigators believe the victims attended a large gathering at a nearby residence before the shooting occurred. According to information gathered during the investigation, the group later stopped at a gas station where an altercation reportedly took place.

Following confirmation of her death, a woman identifying herself as Johnson’s cousin shared messages mourning the loss on social media. Many followers also posted tributes and condolences across Johnson’s online accounts as news of her death spread.
Police have not announced any arrests or identified any suspects connected to the case. Detectives continue collecting evidence while working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and the identities of those involved.
