Trump confirmed the move through a message on his social platform. He explained that mediators from Pakistan requested additional time for negotiations. Therefore, the United States decided to pause military action while Iranian officials prepare a unified peace proposal.
However, Trump also warned that U.S. forces remain ready for action. At the same time, the U.S. military continues its naval blockade of Iranian ports. Consequently, pressure on Iran remains strong despite the U.S. Iran ceasefire extension.
