TikToker Arrested for Killing Co-Worker over $31,000

A TikToker arrested in Texas now faces serious murder charges. Authorities directly link him to the death of his former co-worker. Naqibullah Habibzoi, 23, who has over 20,000 TikTok followers, was taken into custody. Investigators say he is responsible for the killing of 34-year-old Awal Noor Kiftan.

The two men previously worked together at a trucking company. Investigators discovered multiple TikTok posts and comments where Habibzoi accused Kiftan of taking $31,000 from him. Habibzoi, who lives in Houston, initially denied involvement in the shooting outside Kiftan’s apartment. Kiftan was pronounced dead at the scene.

However, investigators soon revealed that Habibzoi drove from Houston to San Antonio the day of the killing. License plate readers confirmed his vehicle traveled between the two cities. Additionally, call records and location data placed him near the crime scene.

A friend of the victim told police that Kiftan received a phone call to meet a woman outside his apartment. Shortly after, the witness reported hearing gunshots. Investigators then linked the woman to Habibzoi.

The TikToker arrested had previously posted on social media that Kiftan “had his $31,000.” He also wrote, “We never move on without taking our own revenge.” Habibzoi claimed hackers accessed his account but provided videos defending himself.

Authorities reportedly obtained a phone call in which Habibzoi admitted to the shooting. Speaking in Pashto, he allegedly told another man that someone refused to return his money, so “he finished him.”

The TikToker arrested remains in custody while facing charges related to this fatal shooting. Investigators continue examining his social media activity for further evidence.

Moreover, law enforcement officials are reviewing Habibzoi’s digital communications and travel records. They aim to uncover any additional connections or potential accomplices in the crime.

This case has drawn significant attention online. Many people are following updates due to Habibzoi’s status as a social media content creator. Meanwhile, authorities urge the public to avoid spreading unverified information about the case.

The San Antonio Police Department has not released further comment. The investigation is ongoing, and the suspect will remain in custody as the case proceeds through the legal system.
