FBI Director Kash Patel marked a milestone on Saturday by posting updates on the agency’s recent achievements. He highlighted “200 days of progress” under President Trump’s second term. In a post on X, Patel praised the FBI’s results since January 20. He reported over 1,600 arrests for violent crimes against children. That figure includes 270 suspects charged with human trafficking.
He also noted a massive fentanyl seizure. In 200 days, the FBI confiscated 1,500 kilos of the deadly drug. According to Patel, that amount equals enough doses to kill over 113 million Americans. He emphasized that this marked a 25% increase compared to last year. Patel wrote, “We look forward to working with our SecDef and DoD partners to getting after it even more.” He also thanked President Trump for granting new law enforcement authorities.
In a separate post, Patel revealed another major figure. FBI agents identified and located 4,000 children who were victims of abuse or trafficking. Additionally, Patel highlighted counterterrorism efforts. The FBI arrested 1,000 individuals with links to foreign terrorist organizations. He stated that 6,300 kilos of methamphetamines were seized during those operations.
He added the hashtag #SummerHeat to signal continued pressure on criminal networks. Meanwhile, the White House promoted the same milestone. On its official X account, it celebrated “200 Days of American Renewal.” The post listed achievements from border security to infrastructure development.
Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino also reposted Patel’s message. Bongino had earlier threatened to resign over the handling of the Epstein files. This time, however, he wrote, “This isn’t even the beginning of the beginning. More coming.”
Concerns about the Epstein case still linger. Many Trump supporters remain frustrated over a lack of transparency. The Department of Justice has denied having any Epstein client list. Last month, Trump defended Attorney General Pam Bondi. He stated, “She’s really done a very good job.”
Despite public pressure, the administration is focusing on law enforcement success. With record-breaking numbers, Patel insists the FBI is making serious strides. In short, 200 days of progress have brought major wins in crime, drugs, and counterterrorism under the Trump administration.
